Giving Yourself Grace

This week has been a little… off for me.
Not anything major, just one of those weeks where your mood feels a little heavy and you can’t really explain why. Maybe it’s just Mother Nature doing her thing… but either way, I’ve been feeling it.
Instead of pushing through it, I decided to slow down.
Today I took a nice hot shower, and for that moment… it was just me. No rushing, no thinking about what needs to get done next. Just peace. And honestly, I needed that more than I realized.
Lately we’ve been busy, cleaning, organizing, trying to redo parts of the kitchen since it’s spring break. Life has just been life-ing. And somewhere in between all of that, I missed my workouts this week… which also threw me off a little because that’s usually my reset.
But instead of being hard on myself, I chose something different today.
I stepped outside…
felt the sunshine…
took a deep breath…
And just like that, I felt a little better.
Not perfect. Not fully “back.”
But better, and that’s enough.
Sometimes we don’t need a full reset…
just a small moment to come back to ourselves. 🌿
