A decision I made in the past that helped me learn and grow was learning how to let go of things that no longer served me, especially a relationship. For a long time, I feel stuck… like I had to stay. I was afraid of change, so I kept choosing comfort over my own peace. I stayed silent, even when I knew deep down I deserved more.

But one day, I worked up the courage to let it all go.

I stopped allowing that toxic situation to keep me hostage. I started to see my worth. I found my voice, the one I used to hide. I spoke up. I stood up for myself. I became someone who no longer accepts less than what I deserve.

I learned that changed isn’t something to fear… it’s something that frees you.

Now, I don’t stay silent. I advocate for myself. I speak my mind. I no longer tolerate anything that stunt my growth or disturbs my peace. And on the brighter side, I met someone who truly appreciates me, but also understands that no longer stand for anything less than respect.

In a way, I outgrew the old version of me… and I’m proud of who I’ve become.
